About Mr. Kalapis
Stephan Kalapis studied Mechanical Engineering between 2011 and 2018, with a focus on space technology.
For several years he worked as a student assistent at the Institute for Textile Technology and the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Lightweight Design. During this time, several internships took him to the Euregio, Switzerland and Russia
In his master thesis, he studied the development of a numerical test stand for the interpretation of Space structures against impact by Space Debris.
Since May 2018, Stephan Kalapis works as a scientific researcher at the SLA.
