Development of the efficient and robust SmartSHM concept on the basis of structural damage indicators and structural analysis - from the ideal model up to application on real structures.

 

About Mr. Janetzko-Preisler

Andreas Janetzko-Preisler studied Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Hamburg from 2008 to 2013, specializing on Lightweight Design. As a student he received the Buchpreis des Förderkreises Wagenbauschule in 2012 and a scholarship of the Fritz Kirchberg Stiftung for his extraordinary achievements during his bachelor’s degree.

Janetzko-Preisler’s career started in 2011 as a student employee at the Elan Ausy GmbH in the Computer Aided Engineering department. Two years later he started working as researcher at the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Lightweight Design being responsible for the research field Structural Health Monitoring . Mr. Janetzko-Preisler developed during his education and career a profound knowledge in the field linear and nonlinear numerical analyses using Finite Element Method. In Dezember 2019, he successfully defended is PhD thesis entilted "Efficient damage detection and assessment based on structural damage indicators". Since then, he has been working at the institute in his new position as Head of Engineering.
